The focus of our weekend is to slow down, rest and rejuvenate. We’ll explore the art of slowing down with daily yoga suitable for all levels, meditation and optional activities such as an art workshop with a local artist and mindful hike’s around the breathtaking Fitzroy Falls & Morton National Park.
We will nourish you from the inside with a delicious vegetarian and gluten free menu made from local produce by Jenny (Mother Monk’s Kitchen).
You’ll return feeling refreshed, recharged and inspired.
Our retreat space in Kangaroo Valley is purpose built for relaxing with beautiful gardens, yoga spaces, meditation room and set within a lush national park!

Fern Cheyney: A while back Fern made a decision to live at a slower pace and loves to share her passion for creating stillness and space. With over 1000 hours of teacher training and a career in research, Fern creates classes, workshops and retreats that are grounded in the latest insights from the world of meditation, mindfulness, positive psychology and the slow movement.
Mirinda Smith: Coming from a nutrition and personal training background Mirinda has always been interested in health and wellness and felt that yoga was the missing link that truly brings everything – the mind, body, emotions – together as one. Her classes are Hatha style and focus on slow, conscious movements using the breath as your guide. Her teacher always said “slow yoga is advanced yoga” so expect some juicy slow flows that will leave you feeling strong yet nurtured and at ease in your body and mind.
