We will be ending the week with a 1hr Yin Yoga Class guiding you to unwind and release the week, followed by a talk on all things acupuncture with Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner Jacqueline from The Acupuncture Haven.
She will specifically be sharing with us a holistic approach to tackling fatigue, stress and anxiety – things we can all relate too am I right!?
Dr Jacqueline Barnett (BTCM) is an AHPRA registered Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal practitioner with a particular passion for digging deeper into the mind-body connection – addressing anxiety and emotional imbalances; as well as all things female health. She holds a Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Chinese medicine addresses anxiety through restoring balance within the body. Stressful events can stagnate the Qi; prolonged stagnation can create heat in the body that may rise upwards, exacerbating anxiety symptoms such as palpitations, chest oppression, fatigue or sleep disturbances. Learn how lifestyle changes can promote a smoother flow of qi and help restore harmony.
