“Yoga does not just change the way we see things, it transforms the person who sees.” – B.K.S. Iyengar
Steph’s yoga journey began as a tentative exploration of asanas on her living room floor. At the time, it took her a full 6 months of home practice before gaining the confidence to join a class. Once she began a regular practice and found inspiring teachers, the chatter in her mind began to quieten. Yoga has taught Steph to approach not just her practice, but in time herself and the world around, with patience and compassion. Yoga allows Steph space to feel, a space to reflect away from the daily demands of our modern life that is so often geared to move us away from our True Self. It has reignited a belief that she is part of something greater than herself, and allows Steph to celebrate the spirit of Love both on and off the mat.
Together, we will focus on full body awareness through a dynamic yet empowering vinyasa class with nurture from plenty of hands on assists. Steph encourages contemplation, acceptance, and self love in the quiet spaces of the mind; often the most challenging aspect of our practice. She is truly passionate about sharing the transformative power of yoga, beyond its physical practice, to our community.
